Join Chef Al for an evening of fun and food. Observe how to handle and butcher meats and fish in our public butchering classes. All classes are held at the restaurant in our downstairs kitchen. The demonstration style classes begin at 6:00pm and each fee includes a meal. Classes last approximately 3 hours. BYOB is allowed.
The butchered meat is available at the end of class at reduced retail price.
Wednesday, June 24, 2015: Half hog
Wednesday, July 22, 2015: Combo class, beef tenderloin, salmon, chicken and lobster
Wednesday, August 5, 2015: Half hog
August 25, 2015: Kids Only Class – Basic prep and knife handling class (no parents allowed) ages 12-16. Class starts at 5:00 PM, limited to six kids only.
Private classes provide an in-depth tutorial with hands-on experience. These classes are perfect for both individuals and small parties. Classes are available for scheduling Monday-Friday after 4pm. Class dates will be mutually agreed upon by the guest and Chef Al. Each class includes a meal.
Private class rates are as follows:
1-2 Guests – $125 per person
3-4 Guests – $110 per person
5-6 Guests – $95 per person
7+ Guests – $85 per person
Private classes require client to purchase product to be butchered (whole sale price, no mark up). Client takes product home at the end of class.
